The ISL6532BCR-T is an ACPI compliant power management integrated circuit designed for dual channel DDR/DDR2 memory systems, capable of supporting up to four DIMMs. It features a synchronous buck controller and an integrated low-dropout (LDO) regulator, which provides high current during active states and standby current during sleep states. The device generates a regulated VTT voltage at VDDQ/2 without requiring a negative supply, and offers a buffered reference output. This product operates with a voltage-mode control design and includes a fast transient response, ensuring tight output voltage regulation of ±2% across various conditions. The outputs are adjustable down to 0.8V, making it suitable for a range of applications including graphics cards, ASIC power supplies, and embedded processors. The ISL6532BCR-T also incorporates features such as integrated thermal shutdown, current limiting, and under/over-voltage monitoring for enhanced reliability.
