The ISL6322CRZ-T is a four-phase PWM controller IC designed for precision voltage regulation in advanced microprocessor applications, compatible with both Intel VR10, VR11, and AMD microprocessors. It features integrated MOSFET drivers, allowing for 2-phase, 3-phase, or 4-phase operation, which reduces the need for external components and optimizes space and cost. This controller provides ±0.5% system accuracy over temperature, with adjustable reference voltage offset and advanced transient response capabilities through Active Pulse Positioning (APP) modulation and Adaptive Phase Alignment (APA). It includes fully differential, continuous DCR current sensing for accurate load line programming and channel current balancing. The ISL6322CRZ-T supports an I2C interface for communication with other devices, enabling adjustments for voltage margining, switching frequency, and overvoltage protection levels. It also incorporates multiple protection features, including overcurrent and multi-tiered overvoltage protection, ensuring robust operation in demanding environments.
