The ISL6146E is a low-voltage OR-ing MOSFET controller designed for N+1 power distribution systems and uninterruptible power supplies, operating with input voltages from 1V to 18V. It drives an external N-channel MOSFET using an integrated charge pump and provides fast reverse current fault isolation with a 6A turn-off current. The device features an open-drain FAULT output, programmable VIN-VOUT threshold for noise immunity, and hot-swap transient protection up to +24V. It is available in an 8-lead MSOP package measuring 3.0mm x 3.0mm with a 0.65mm pitch, and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
