The ISL6121HIB is a single supply integrated current limiting controller designed for applications requiring overcurrent protection. It operates within a voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and features a 0.05Oc integrated N-channel MOSFET switch, providing accurate current sensing and limiting capabilities. The device includes a 12ms timed fault latch-off feature that is independent of temperature, ensuring reliable operation under various conditions. This controller is equipped with an under voltage lockout function, which prevents output activation unless the input voltage exceeds 2.5V. It also offers controlled turn-on and turn-off ramp times to mitigate inrush current, thereby reducing voltage droop during startup. The ISL6121HIB supports logic level compatible enable inputs and fault output signals, making it suitable for integration into various control systems. The device is housed in an 8-lead SOIC package and is rated for operation in temperatures ranging from -40¬8C to 85¬8C.
