The IDT723612L20PFI8 is a high-speed, low-power CMOS bi-directional clocked FIFO memory with a storage capacity of 64 x 36 bits for each of its two independent FIFOs. It supports clock frequencies up to 67 MHz and features fast access times of 10 ns. The device allows for asynchronous or coincident clocking, enabling simultaneous reading and writing of data. Each FIFO includes programmable Almost-Full and Almost-Empty flags, as well as mailbox bypass registers for direct communication. Parity checking is passively supported on each port, with selectable parity generation for data read operations. The IDT723612 is available in both 132-pin plastic quad flat package (PQF) and 120-pin thin quad flat package (TQFP) configurations, and it operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C for industrial applications.
