The ICS889831AKLF is a high-speed, low-skew 1-to-4 differential LVPECL-to-LVPECL/ECL fanout buffer designed for demanding applications such as SONET, 1 Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet, and Fibre Channel. It features four differential LVPECL/ECL outputs and can accept various differential input levels, including LVPECL, LVDS, CML, and SSTL, thanks to its internally terminated differential input and VREF_AC pin. The device supports a maximum output frequency greater than 2.1 GHz, with an output skew of 30 ps and part-to-part skew of 185 ps. It has a maximum propagation delay of 570 ps and an additive phase jitter of 0.27 ps (typical). The operating voltage supply range for LVPECL mode is 2.5V ¬± 5% or 3.3V ¬± 5%, while for ECL mode, it operates at 0V and -3.3V ¬± 5%. The ICS889831AKLF is packaged in a compact 3mm x 3mm 16-pin VFQFN, making it suitable for space-constrained applications, and it operates within an ambient temperature range of -40¬8C to 85¬8C. The product is also lead-free and fully RoHS compliant.
