It utilizes Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) techniques to generate output frequencies up to 250 MHz, with an input crystal frequency range of 5 to 27 MHz and an input clock frequency range of 2 to 50 MHz. The device allows users to set the output frequency by configuring internal dividers without the need for microcontrollers or software, making it straightforward to implement. This clock generator is available in a 28-pin SSOP or VFQFPN package and operates at voltages between 3.0V and 5.5V. It features low output jitter and a duty cycle of 45/55 up to 200 MHz.
