The DA9062-56AM1 is a power management integrated circuit (PMIC) designed for applications requiring up to 8.5 A, making it suitable for mobile devices, medical equipment, in-vehicle infotainment systems, and FPGA-based applications. It features four buck converters with a total output current of 8.5 A, supporting dynamic voltage control and high efficiency across a wide load range. The buck converters can operate in a dual-phase configuration, and one is specifically designed for DDR VTT supply. The device operates with an input voltage range of 2.8 V to 5.5 V and includes four low-dropout (LDO) regulators with programmable output voltages. It supports a 3 MHz switching frequency, allowing the use of low-profile inductors. The DA9062 also incorporates a programmable power sequencer for managing startup and shutdown sequences, as well as a real-time clock (RTC) for timekeeping and alarm functions. Additional features include five GPIOs for system functions, a watchdog timer, and the capability to charge coin cells or super-capacitors. The device is available in a compact 40-pin QFN package and operates within a junction temperature range of -40 ¬8C to +125 ¬8C. An automotive AEC-Q100 Grade 2 version is also available, enhancing its suitability for automotive applications.
