The IDT72245LB is a high-speed, low-power synchronous FIFO memory with a capacity of 4,096 x 18 bits. It features a 10 ns read/write cycle time and supports dual-port zero fall-through time architecture, making it suitable for various data buffering applications such as optical disk controllers and Local Area Networks (LANs). The FIFO includes empty and full flags to indicate status, as well as programmable almost-empty and almost-full flags for enhanced control. It can operate with asynchronous or coincident read and write clocks, providing flexibility in design. The device is available in a 64-lead thin quad flatpack (TQFP/STQFP) and plastic leaded chip carrier (PLCC) packages, and it operates within an industrial temperature range of -40¬8C to +85¬8C. Note that the lead finish (SnPb) is in the end-of-life process, with the last time buy expiring on June 15, 2018.
