Extra Heavy Duty Hopper-7 Gauge Rugged, double-welded steel hoppers solve your bulk handling problems. Designed for forklift handling. These low cost self-dumping hoppers are excellent for handling heavy, bulky scrap, in-process materials, castings and sludge. Wet or dry-they're watertight! Extra Heavy Duty hoppers of low carbon 7 gauge steel are available in sizes from 1/4 cubic yard to 5 cubic yards and capacities up to 6000 lbs. The Heavy Duty hoppers of 10 gauge steel and the Medium Duty hoppers of 12 gauge steel can be utilized for less demanding service. All hoppers are precisely balanced to tip forward for complete discharge of contents and then automatically return to an upright position. Positive lock action prevents accidental dumping. Safety chain secures hopper to the handling vehicle. Formed top edges increase rigidity. Empty units up to the 2 cubic yard size can be stacked to save space when not in use. Units are not designed to be stacked when loaded. Shipped fully assembled. Bolt-on casters and hinged lids are available. Specify Orange or Gray enamel finish when ordering, FOB-Shipping Point.
