17-4 stainless steel can be heat treated to approximately 44 Rc, and an ultimate tensile strength of 1,300 MPa. Thanks to the corrosion resistance and machinability, it is common used in automobile spare parts industry.
This part is used in automobile brake system, made by precision casting first, then machine to final required dimensions.

Viscosity is a characteristic of stainless steel material, so during machining process, operator need to check tool timely and measure the dimensions. This makes the whole process is slow.
