S-IMS is designed as a simple interface between fixed mount scanners and a host system. QMI Services utilizes PLC as well as industrial PC’s for most integrated systems to capture, merge, and transmit data. S-IMS provides a platform to view, configure, and control scanners and cameras, which is particularly important for multiple scanners and scan tunnels. Additional features include merging scan, weight, and cubing data. QMI Services configures the data string for virtually any system requirement.
