Qualtek Electronics Corp. Flexible Fiberglass Uncoated Sleeving, Up to 316°C, MIL-Y-1140H QUS-316

QUS-316 is a flexible fiberglass sleeving designed for wire harness assemblies requiring high thermal endurance and ease of installation over irregular shapes. It operates continuously from -60°C to +316°C and withstands up to 616°C for short periods. The sleeving is nonflammable, noncorrosive, and resistant to fungus, mildew, sunlight, and aging. It meets MIL-Y-1140H, Class C, Form 1, and carries UL VW-1 approval (File No. E500044). The material is unaffected by bleaches and solvents and has a specific gravity of 2.55-2.58 g/cm³. Tensile strength is 500,000-550,000 psi at 22°C, with elongation at break of 4.5-4.9%. Wall thickness is 0.006 in (0.15 mm) for all sizes listed. Standard color is natural, and it is RoHS compliant. Packaging is provided on 25-ft mini spools and 100-ft standard spools.
