QCS-240 is a silicone rubber coated fiberglass sleeving designed for high-temperature insulation in industrial and aerospace applications. It has an operating temperature range of -80°C to +240°C, meets MIL-I-3190/9 (Grade A), UL 1441, NEMA TF-1 Type 5, and ASTM-D372 standards, and is rated for 600V with VW-1 flame resistance. The sleeving exhibits dielectric strength of at least 6000V individually and 8000V average per NEMA Grade A, passes hydrolytic stability and chemical resistance tests, and maintains integrity after thermal endurance testing at 240°C. Standard colors are red and black, and it is RoHS compliant. Packaging varies by inside diameter, with typical lengths of 36 inches and quantities per bag ranging from 50 to 1000.
