Heat shrink tubing for medium voltage insulation up to 36kV, with a 2.5:1 shrink ratio and halogen-free radiation-cross-linked polyolefin construction, designed for cable terminals and switchgear insulation. This part is supplied as cut length tubing with an as-supplied inside diameter of 65mm, recovered inside diameter of 21mm, and 3.3mm wall thickness in a round profile, 48 inches long. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C, with full recovery at 110°C. It complies with RoHS, achieves tracking resistance per ASTM D 2303 at 3.75kV for 1 hour, and has a dielectric strength exceeding 15kV/mm. Tensile strength is 11MPa with elongation at break greater than 400%, remaining above 10MPa and 350% after aging at 120°C for 168 hours. Cold bend resistance is confirmed at -40°C with no cracking, and copper corrosion is prevented under test conditions.
