QAS is a heat-shrinkable, anti-tracking rain shield designed for insulation protection of outdoor cable terminations up to 36kV, with a 2:1 shrink ratio. Made from high creep resistance polyolefin coated with weather-resistant mastic, it operates from -55°C to +105°C and requires a minimum shrink temperature of 110°C. Standard color is red. It meets RoHS compliance, achieves dielectric strength of 15kV/mm, passes tracked resistance testing per ASTM D2303, and exhibits no copper corrosion or cracking after aging and cold bend tests. Tensile strength exceeds 13 MPa with elongation over 400%, maintaining 10.4 MPa and 350% after 168 hours at 120°C. Volume resistance is 10^14 Ω·cm and oxygen index is 25. Physical dimensions vary by size, with nominal D1 from 35mm to 120mm, H from 12mm to 45mm, and recovered D2 from 21mm to 35mm.
