Q5-F3X is a dual wall, adhesive-lined, flexible polyolefin heat shrink tubing with a 3:1 shrink ratio, designed for environmental sealing of electrical components such as wire splices and harnesses in automotive and communication applications. It has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, a minimum shrink temperature of 70°C, and a full recovery temperature of 110°C. The tubing is black, RoHS compliant, and meets SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/4 and Sony-SS-00259 standards. It is UL and CSA approved with File Nos. E236137 and 242540, passes VW-1 flammability tests, and withstands 2500 V AC for one minute. The 3/16 inch (4.8 mm) as-supplied inside diameter shrinks to a maximum of 1.5 mm, with a nominal wall thickness of 1.00 mm and adhesive thickness of 0.5 mm. It is supplied in 100-meter spools.
