Dual wall, adhesive lined polyolefin heat shrink tubing for automotive brake line protection, with a 1.5:1 shrink ratio, black in color, and RoHS compliant. It operates from -55°C to +105°C, shrinks minimally at 100°C, and fully recovers at 120°C. The tubing for size 10 mm as supplied has an inside diameter of 8.00 mm and a wall thickness of 1.2 mm, reducing to a recovered diameter of 7.0 mm. It meets UL 224 for longitudinal shrinkage, ASTM D 2671 for tensile strength of at least 12 MPa and elongation of at least 300%, and ASTM D 746 for impact resistance with no cracking at -35°C. Fluid resistance is qualified against Honda brake fluid and unleaded petrol.
