Q2-Z thin wall heat shrink tubing is a flame retardant, environmentally friendly tubing with a 2:1 shrink ratio, used for insulation, strain relief, and harnessing in electronics and automotive applications. It operates from -55°C to +125°C, has a minimum shrink temperature of 70°C, and fully recovers at 100°C. The tubing meets UL 224 and CSA 22.2 standards, is VW-1 rated for flammability, and withstands 600V AC for one minute. It is RoHS compliant, contains no PBB, PBBO, or PBBE, and has cadmium and lead content below 5 ppm and 10 ppm respectively. The as-supplied inner diameter for the 3/16 inch size is 4.8 mm, with a wall thickness of 0.56 mm after recovery. Standard packaging is 500 feet per reel. Known colors include black, red, blue, yellow, green, and white, with other colors available on request.
