Q2-Z thin wall heat shrink tubing is a flame-retardant, environmentally friendly tubing with a 2:1 shrink ratio, designed for insulation, strain relief, and wire harnessing in automotive and electronic applications. It operates from -55°C to +125°C, has a minimum shrink temperature of 70°C, and fully recovers at 100°C. The tubing meets UL 224, CSA 22.2, VW-1, and 600V standards, is RoHS compliant, and contains no PBB, PBBO, or PBBE. It has a tensile strength exceeding 14 MPa and ultimate elongation over 400%. As supplied, the 11.0 mm inside diameter shrinks to 5.50 mm, with a wall thickness of 0.56 mm, supplied in 100 meter lengths. Approval files are E236137 and 242540.
