Q2-LS is a thin-wall, halogen-free, polyolefin heat shrink tubing with a 2:1 shrink ratio, designed for applications involving heat-sensitive components requiring rapid shrinkage at low temperatures. It operates from -55°C to +125°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 65°C and full recovery at 95°C. The tubing has a tensile strength greater than 12 MPa, ultimate elongation exceeding 400%, and dielectric strength greater than 20 kV/mm. It passes flammability standard FMVSS 302, meets SONY-SS-00259, is RoHS compliant, and has CSA File No. 242540. The 5/16 inch nominal recovered inside diameter has a wall thickness of 0.6 mm and is supplied in 250-foot lengths. Manufactured with modified radiation cross-linked polyolefin. This specially designed halogen free formulation makes the tubing very flexible and shrinks at low temperature. Suitable for applications where heat sensitive components are used and quick shrinkage is required. The flammability of the tubing meets the automotive flame propagation standard FMVSS 302. Although very flexible, it has good mechanical and electrical performance.
