Q2-LS series thin wall heat shrink tubing is a halogen-free polyolefin product with a 2:1 shrink ratio, designed for applications involving heat-sensitive components. It operates from -55°C to +125°C, initiates shrinkage at 65°C, and fully recovers at 95°C. The tubing meets SONY-SS-00259, is RoHS compliant, and passes FMVSS 302 flammability testing. For the 1/2 inch nominal size, the as-supplied inside diameter ranges from 12.7 mm to 6.4 mm, with a wall thickness of 0.6 mm after recovery, and is supplied in 100-foot lengths. It has a dielectric strength exceeding 20 kV/mm and maintains tensile strength above 12 MPa with over 400% elongation. Standard color is black.

Manufactured with modified radiation cross-linked polyolefin. This specially designed halogen free formulation makes the tubing very flexible and shrinks at low temperature. Suitable for applications where heat sensitive components are used and quick shrinkage is required. The flammability of the tubing meets the automotive flame propagation standard FMVSS 302. Although very flexible, it has good mechanical and electrical performance.
