Q2-LS thin wall heat shrink tubing is a halogen-free polyolefin product with a 2:1 shrink ratio, designed for applications involving heat-sensitive components due to its low shrink temperature. It operates from -55°C to +125°C, with a minimum shrink temperature of 65°C and full recovery at 95°C. The tubing is black, RoHS compliant, meets SONY-SS-00259, and has CSA File No. 242540 approval. For the 1/16 inch nominal inside diameter as-supplied size, the recovered inside diameter ranges from 0.5 mm to 0.8 mm, with a wall thickness of 0.5 mm, and it is supplied in 100-foot lengths. Tensile strength exceeds 12 MPa, ultimate elongation exceeds 400%, and it passes FMVSS 302 flammability and UL 224 copper stability tests. Dielectric strength is greater than 20 kV/mm.

Manufactured with modified radiation cross-linked polyolefin. This specially designed halogen free formulation makes the tubing very flexible and shrinks at low temperature. Suitable for applications where heat sensitive components are used and quick shrinkage is required. The flammability of the tubing meets the automotive flame propagation standard FMVSS 302. Although very flexible, it has good mechanical and electrical performance.
