Q2-F series thin wall heat shrink tubing with a 2:1 shrink ratio provides electrical insulation and mechanical protection for wires, terminals, and splices. The tubing has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +135°C, a minimum shrink temperature of 70°C, and a full recovery temperature of 100°C. It meets SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 1 and 3 and Sony-SS-00259 standards, is VW-1 flammable, and rated for 600V. The material is free of PBBs, PBBOs, PBBEs, cadmium, and lead, and is RoHS compliant. The part Q2-F-5-06-QB48IN-2 corresponds to a 5/16 inch (8.0 mm) inside diameter after recovery, with a wall thickness of 0.62 mm, supplied in 48-inch lengths on spools of 25 pieces per bag. Other standard sizes in the series have similar properties but different dimensions and packaging.
