Q2-F series heat shrink thin wall tubing with a 2:1 shrink ratio provides electrical insulation and environmental protection for wires, terminals, and splices. It operates from -55°C to +135°C with a minimum shrink temperature of 70°C and full recovery at 100°C. The tubing meets SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 1 and 3, Sony-SS-00259, and is approved to VW-1, 600V, with File No. E236137 and File No. 242540. Material is free of PBBs, PBBOs, PBBEs, cadmium, and lead. RoHS compliant. For size 5/16 inch (8.0 mm) inside diameter as supplied, wall thickness is 0.62 mm, shrinking to 4.0 mm after recovery. Packaged in 25-piece boxes. Tensile strength exceeds 14 MPa, elongation exceeds 600%, and dielectric strength exceeds 20 kV/mm.
