Q2-F thin wall heat shrink tubing is a flexible, flame-retardant tubing with a 2:1 shrink ratio, used for electrical insulation and protection of wires, terminals, and splices. It has an operating temperature range of -55°C to +135°C, a minimum shrink temperature of 70°C, and fully recovers at 100°C. The tubing meets SAE-AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 1 and 3, Sony-SS-00259, and has VW-1 flammability and 600V dielectric ratings. It is RoHS compliant, free of PBBs, PBBOs, PBBEs, cadmium, and lead, and available in standard colors including black, red, blue, yellow, green, white, and clear. The part number Q2-F-3-07-SS100FT corresponds to a 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) inside diameter, 4.8 mm wall thickness after shrink, supplied on a 100-foot spool.
