Our 8635 series features the standard, 3-prong, European Schuko Plug (CEE 7/7) with the Left Angle IEC-60320-C15 Connector. These European power cords are ideal for powering "hot" devices that generate lots of heat. For this purpose, these cords are rated at 120C. On one end, these cords plug into the standard European wall outlet or receptacle, and on the other end they connect to any equipment using either the IEC-60320 C16 or C14 inlet. This left angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a left angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails away to your left-hand side. The 8635.079 is a European power cord that carries the European and GOST approvals and is rated at 10A - 250V.
