Our 8576 series features the standard, 3-prong, AS/NZS 4417 Australian Plug (Former AS 3112 Australia) with the Up Angle IEC-60320-C13 Connector. These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which use the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. This is the Australian equivalent of the 2500 series, the North American PC Power Cord. This up angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of an up angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails up and away from the equipment.
