Our 6283 series features the standard IEC-60320-C14 Plug with the Left Angle IEC-60320-C15 Connector. These power cords are ideal for powering devices that generate lots of heat. For this purpose, these cords are rated at 120C. On one end, these cords plug into the standard North American wall outlet or receptacle, and on the other end they connect to any equipment using either the IEC-60320 C16 or C14 inlet. This left angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a left angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails away to your left-hand side. The 6283.079 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 15A - 125V.
