Our 5534 series features the domestic, 3-prong, White, 45 Angle North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with the White NEMA 5-15R Triple Tap (NEMA 5-15R x 3). These North American cords are the recommended cords used to connect several devices, appliances, and electronics to a power source. On one end, these cords plug directly into any standard NEMA wall outlet or receptacle, and on the other, the triple tap mold accomodates any 3 NEMA 5-15P style plugs. Because these cords power 3 devices while only using 1 outlet, we refer to them as space-savers. This 45 angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. Because of the offset design, we define the orientation of the ground pin as it appears in the drawing above. Here, the ground pin appears to be in the 2 O'clock position, so we refer to it as the NEMA 5-15P 45 (2 O??clock Ground Pin). The 5534.036 is a white jacketed power cord that carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 13A - 125V.
