Our 5533 series features the domestic, 3-prong, White, Down Angle North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with the White NEMA 5-15R Triple Tap (NEMA 5-15R x 3). These North American cords are the recommended cords used to connect several devices, appliances, and electronics to a power source. On one end, these cords plug directly into any standard NEMA wall outlet or receptacle, and on the other, the triple tap mold accomodates any 3 NEMA 5-15P style plugs. Because these cords power 3 devices while only using 1 outlet, we refer to them as space-savers. This down angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a down angle plug is that when facing the outlet with the plug installed ground-pin-down, the cord trails down and away from the wall socket. The 5533.180 is a white jacketed power cord that carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 13A - 125V.
