Our 5223 series features the Right Angle IEC-60320-C18 Plug with the NEMA 1-15R Polarized Receptacle.
These 2-conductor power cords provide power for any device or appliance using the NEMA 1-15P plug by tapping into any IEC-60320-C13 or C17 outlet or socket with an IEC-60320-C18.
This right angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a right angle IEC plug is that when facing the outlet with the plug installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails away to your right-hand side.
The NEMA 1-15R Polarized Receptacle features an elongated slot which can accommodate polarized plugs to be inserted in only one direction, and non polarized plugs in any direction.
The 5223.008 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
