Our 5147 series features the domestic, 3-prong, Down Angle North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with an ROJ Special. These North American power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the standard North American wall outlet or NEMA 5-15R receptacle on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end. This down angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a down angle plug is that when facing the outlet with the plug installed ground-pin-down, the cord trails down and away from the wall socket. A Special ROJ is much like the standard ROJ, however the lengths of the removed jacket and the conductor insulation may vary. Also, you will find that some or all of the conductors may feature a special terminal: ring, quick disconnect, flag, spade, etc ... The 5147.072 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 13A - 125V.
