Our 5090 series features the 3-prong, Down Angle, North American NEMA 5-20P with the Left Angle IEC-60320-C19 Connector. These North American power cords are the recommended cords for networking, laboratory, and communications equipment. They connect on one end to the NEMA 5-20R wall outlet and on the other end to PDUs, servers, and UPSs or any device featuring a C20 inlet. This down angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a down angle plug is that when facing the outlet with the plug installed ground-pin-down, the cord trails down and away from the wall socket.
