Our 4940 series features the domestic, 3-prong, Down Angle North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with the IEC-60320-C13 Auto-Lock Connector. These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which have the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The plug end inserts into any standard NEMA wall outlet or any NEMA 5-15R receptacle. The Auto-Lock C13 is an internal mechanism that holds the pins of the C14 Plug or Inlet to keep your device from being accidentally unplugged! These components are sturdy yet unplug with ease whenever you want to remove the power cord! This down angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a down angle plug is that when facing the outlet with the plug installed ground-pin-down, the cord trails down and away from the wall socket.
