Quail ElectronicsNEMA 5-15P to IEC-60320-C13 RIGHT ANGLE HOME // Power Cords // North American Power Cords // 3 Conductor Power Cords4917.120
Description
Our 4917 series features the standard, domestic, 3-prong, North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with the Right Angle IEC-60320-C13 Connector.
These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which have the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The plug end inserts into any standard NEMA wall outlet or any NEMA 5-15R receptacle.
This right angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a right angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails away to your right-hand side.
Double shielded wire uses two layers of conductive lining to protect the stream of electricity from magnetic fields. The innermost layer of conductive foil prevents the power cord from generating any obstructive high frequency noise while the exterior layer of braided tinned copper efficiently expels any electromagnetic interference originating from exterior sources. The additional, exterior layer is particularly necessary for applications which must be free from large-bandwidth EMI waves, because the braided lining intercepts such signals and disperses them to ground potential.
The 4917.120 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
This North American power cord can also be used in the following countries: Bahamas Jamaica Barbados Laos Belize Mexico Canada Micronesia Cayman Islands Nicaragua Costa Rica No. Mariana Island Cuba Palmyra Atoll Dominican Republic Panama Ecuador Peru El Salvador Philippines Guam Puerto Rico Guatemala Thailand Haiti Venezuela Honduras Virgin Islands
