Our 4838 series features the 3-prong, North American, Locking NEMA L5-15P Plug with an ROJ. These locking power cords are ideal for powering your high voltage/ high current equipment. The plug mates with the NEMA L5-15R while the other end hard-wires directly into your equipment. Additionally, this power cord features a twist-lock plug which rotates within the outlet or receptacle to lock into place. An ROJ, or Removed Outer Jacket, is the result of stripping the exterior jacket from the power cord and exposing the conductors for the purpose of hard-wiring the cord into your equipment. Our standard ROJ includes the removal of 2 inches (51mm) of jacket and of 1/4 inch (6mm) of conductor insulation. The 4838.039 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 15A - 125V.
