Our 3037 series features the IEC309-32A-250V Male Plug with the Locking NEMA L6-30R Receptacle. IEC60309 cords are internationally approved power cords that adhere to IEC-60309-1 regulations. They are mainly designed for industrial applications and high power connections. These cords carry various IP ratings (Ingress Protection) which indicate different levels of protection against splashes of liquid and dust. The circular housings of these plugs and sockets are color coded based on the voltage: Yellow for 125V, Blue for 250V and Red for 400V. People also like to call them Pins & Sleeves or Commando plugs/sockets. These IEC60309 power cords are the recommended cords used to connect computing, communications, laboratory, or industrial equipment to high-fidelity IEC60309 power sources. On one end, these cords connect to any 32A-250V female IEC60309 wall outlet or connector, and on the other end they connect to the Locking NEMA L6-30P.
