Our 2710 series features the Piggyback NEMA 5-15P Plug with the IEC-60320-C13 Connector. These power cords are the standard cords used for servers, networking equipment, telecommunications equipment, and many more devices and appliances which use the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The plug end connects to any standard NEMA outlet or 5-15R receptacle and conserves space via the piggyback configuration. Shielded wire uses a conductive lining to disperse any external electromagnetic interference and reduce any internal high-frequency noise. This protects the flow of electricity from electromagnetic fields created by other devices, and also protects the external environment from any electromagnetic field created by the power cord itself. The piggyback design is a space-saving feature that allows you to power your device while still leaving the outlet or receptacle free to power other appliances.
