Our 2068 series features the domestic, 2-prong, North American Polarized Plug (NEMA 1-15P Polarized) with the Left Angle IEC-60320-C17 Connector. These 2-conductor power cords are recommended for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and devices & appliances which use the IEC-60320-C18 inlet. They will plug into any standard North American wall outlet or receptacle. This left angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a left angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails away to your left-hand side. This NEMA 1-15P Polarized Plug incorporates a design feature consisting of an enlarged neutral prong/blade. The enlarged prong/blade allows the plug to be inserted into an outlet in only one manner, guaranteeing that electricity circulates only one way through the cord. The 2068.072 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
