Our 2043 series features the 3-prong, Grey Japanese Plug (JIS 8303) with the Grey, Left Angle IEC-60320-C13 Connector with a Ferrite.
These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which use the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. This is the Japanese equivalent of the 2500 series, the North American PC Power Cord.
This left angle power cord is ideal for use in confined spaces because it eliminates stress placed on the conductors and strain relief. The definition of a left angle connector is that when facing the equipment with the connector installed ground-pin-up, the cord trails away to your left-hand side.
Ferrite beads are low-pass EMI/RFI filters formed by drawing the copper leads through an iron cylinder. The low level of magnetism exerted by the ferrite component removes impedance caused by high frequency noise from the flow of electricity.
The 2043.118F is a grey Japanese power cord that carries the PSE approval and is rated at 12A - 125V.
