Our 2015 series features the 3-conductor, Japanese Plug (JIS 8303) with a ground lead with the IEC-60320-C13 Connector.
These power cords are the standard cords used for monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices & appliances which use the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. These cords feature a gound lead on the plug.
We incorporated a Ground Lead on this JIS 8303 Japanese Plug to add an extra layer of fault protection. Some Japanese wall outlets feature a grounding post, to which you must connect using the independent ground lead. This protects people by dispersing any current or voltage produced by a ground fault.
The 2015.098 is a Japanese power cord that carries the PSE approval and is rated at 15A - 125V.
This Japanese power cord can also be used in Colombia.
