Our 1815 series features the 3-prong, North American, Locking NEMA L5-15P Plug with the Locking NEMA L5-15R Receptacle. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These locking power cords are ideal for powering your high voltage/ high current equipment. On one end, the plug connects to a Locking NEMA L5-15R wall outlet or receptacle, while the other end connects to equipment that uses the Locking NEMA L5-15P, meaning this quailifies as a heavy duty extension cord. Additionally, this power cord features the twist-lock plug and receptacles which rotate to lock into one another. The 1815.072 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 15A - 125V.
