Our 1801 series features the 3-prong, Red, North American, Locking NEMA L5-15P Plug with the Red IEC-60320-C13 Connector. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These locking power cords are ideal for powering your high voltage/ high current equipment. On one end, the plug connects to a Locking NEMA L5-15R outlet or receptacle, while on the other end the IEC-60320-C13 Connector can power monitors, computers, printers, scanners, TVs, sound systems, and many more devices and appliances which have the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. Additionally, this power cord features a twist-lock plug which rotates to lock into the matching receptacle. Shielded wire uses a conductive lining to disperse any external electromagnetic interference and reduce any internal high-frequency noise. This protects the flow of electricity from electromagnetic fields created by other devices, and also protects the external environment from any electromagnetic field created by the power cord itself. The 1801.084 is a red power cord that carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
