Our 1712 series features the 3-prong, Red, North American NEMA 6-20P Plug with the Red IEC-60320-C13 Connector. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These High Voltage, High Current power cords are the recommended cords used for entertainment, networking, laboratory, and industrial equipment using the IEC-60320-C14 inlet. The plug end inserts only into the NEMA 6-20R style wall outlet or receptacle. The 1712.072 is a red power cord that carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 15A - 250V.
