Our 1690 series features the 3-prong, North American NEMA 6-15P Plug with an ROJ.
These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?)
These Heavy Duty North American power cords are ideal for powering your custom equipment. This power cord will plug into the NEMA 6-15R wall outlet or receptacle on one end and will hard-wire into your equipment on the other end.
An ROJ, or Removed Outer Jacket, is the result of stripping the exterior jacket from the power cord and exposing the conductors for the purpose of hard-wiring the cord into your equipment. Our standard ROJ includes the removal of 2 inches (51mm) of jacket and of 1/4 inch (6mm) of conductor insulation.
The 1690.072 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 15A - 250V.
