Our 1683 series features the standard, domestic, 3-prong, North American Plug (NEMA 5-15P) with the IEC-60320-C15 Connector. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These North American power cords are ideal for powering devices that generate lots of heat. For this purpose, these cords are rated at 120C. On one end, these cords plug into the standard North American wall outlet or receptacle, and on the other end they connect to any equipment using either the IEC-60320 C16 or C14 inlet. The 1683.120 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 15A - 125V.
