Our 1096 series features the 3-prong, North American NEMA 6-15P Plug with the IEC-60320-C5 Connector. These Heavy Duty Power Cords feature plugs and/or connectors that are rated for high voltage and high current use, and are most often on large gauge wire. They can be used with heavy machinery as well as networking equipment (PDUs, Servers, UPSs ?) These are the standard North American power cords used for grounded (3-conductor) laptops, notebooks, stereos, game consoles, and electric razors, as well as many other devices. These power cords connect on one end to the 250V NEMA 6-15R outlet or receptacle, and on the other to any electronic device or appliance using an IEC-60320-C6 inlet. The IEC-60320-C5 is also known as the Mickey-Mouse connector. The 1096.096S carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 250V.
