Our 1068 series features the domestic, 2-prong, North American Polarized Plug (NEMA 1-15P Polarized) with the IEC-60320-C7 Polarized Connector. These 2-conductor North American power cords are the standard cords for (un-grounded) laptops, notebooks, stereos, game consoles, electric razors, and many more devices. On one end they plug into any North American outlet or receptacle, and on the other they connect to any device using the IEC-60320-C8 Inlet. The IEC-60320-C7 is also referred to as the Figure-8 connector. This NEMA 1-15P Polarized Plug incorporates a design feature consisting of an enlarged neutral prong/blade. The enlarged prong/blade allows the plug to be inserted into an outlet in only one manner, guaranteeing that electricity circulates only one way through the cord. The connector of this cord is also polarized, which guarantees electricity will flow only one way through your equipment. The 1068.144 carries the UL and C-UL approvals and is rated at 10A - 125V.
