Our 1059 series features the domestic, 2-prong, North American Polarized Plug (NEMA 1-15P Polarized) with a Blunt Cut. These power cords are ideal for hard-wiring your equipment. The first end hard-wires directly into your appliance or device, while the opposite end plugs into any standard North American wall outlet or 5-15R receptacle. This NEMA 1-15P Polarized Plug incorporates a design feature consisting of an enlarged neutral prong/blade. The enlarged prong/blade allows the plug to be inserted into an outlet in only one manner, guaranteeing that electricity circulates only one way through the cord. Extendable/Retractab le cords feature wire that has been wound and molded to have a spring-like ability to maintain its shape. These cords are useful on appliances that require mobility. A Blunt Cut means that one end of the power cord has been removed and the cable has been cut to length. This configuration is ideal for customers who wish to create their own custom termination.
